Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) is a shipping term that means the seller is responsible for collecting any taxes, duties or import fees on the shipment.
How it works
When a DDP shipment is sent, the item will clear customs without needing any payment from the recipient. Any import fees will be charged back to the sender. Sellers can include these fees in their shipping costs at the checkout and collect payment directly from the recipient this way.
Why choose DDP?
Faster Delivery: No delays with items being held for payments, items go straight through customs.
No potential unexpected costs for the customer after checkout.
Simplified Experience: Once the customer has placed their order all they have to do is look forward to it being delivered.
